Our client is a well-established outfit who specialises in the Ventilation / Fire Damper industry. They require a hardworking Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer, with proven industry experience and a varied skillset. You will be inspecting ventilation and ductwork systems to perform cleans and servicing to ensure full compliance and functionality. The company have been operating for over 15 years and have a strong presence in the South East.

They have recently won new contracts, which would allow engineers to travel within the region, so this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like a role with a healthy work/life balance. Experience /

Qualifications:

* Strong hands-on experience working as an Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer

* Will ideally hold industry-relevant qualifications, such as the Fire Damper Testing ticket

* Good working knowledge of TR19 and BS9999 guidelines

* Experience working across a range of client sites

* Flexible on working hours / days

* Comfortable using IT software to complete reports

The Role:

* Inspecting of ductwork, ventilation and extract systems to identify system issues

* Cleaning of ductwork, ventilation, fans, kitchen extract and canopy systems

* Inspecting and testing of Fire Dampers

* Fitting of access doors

* Taking pre and post work photographs

* Keeping accurate records of works undertaken

* Providing advice on required works

* Ensuring works are completed within agreed deadlines and to high standards
