A respected and expanding Accountancy Practice based in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to take the next step in their career, working with one of the region’s leading independent firms.

The Audit Senior will play a key role in the delivery of audit services to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients across a variety of sectors. The role includes audit planning, on‑site fieldwork, and completion, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and compliance with all relevant standards.

The successful Audit Senior will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, while also mentoring junior staff and contributing to the growth and success of the audit department.

• Lead audits from planning through to completion for a variety of clients.
• Liaise directly with clients to ensure audit requirements are met and expectations managed.
• Supervise and support junior team members, fostering their professional development.
• Review audit files and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare reports and documentation in accordance with professional standards.
• Ensure deadlines and budgets are met while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearly qualified) and QBE Considered.
• A minimum of three years' experience in practice.
• A commercially focused, self‑motivated individual with a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• A team player who is also confident working independently.
• Willingness to mentor, train and develop less experienced colleagues.
