Role overview

Our Advanced Machinist Apprenticeship allows you to gain practical experience of producing parts and products, using a variety of methods and equipment. Placements include basic tooling, multi‑axis machining, assembly and EHS.

Responsibilities
  • Observe the agreed conditions of the relevant learning agreement
  • Attend training and perform tasks as directed
  • Undertake training and assessments required under the training plan
  • Work towards achieving the competencies of the training plan
  • Keep an updated training record to demonstrate achievements
  • Behave in a courteous and professional manner
  • Adhere to Company policy inc. Health and Safety procedures
  • Comply with external training providers code of conduct
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate Company Core Values at all times
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4 (C) or above to include Maths, English and Science
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self‑motivated & proactive
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a team
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Recent job or relevant work experience would be advantageous
