The School of Education, Health & Science is seeking to appoint a full-time Biomedical Science Technician Demonstrator.
As a Technician Demonstrator, you’ll develop and deliver support for teaching, assessment and research. You will have a good working knowledge of Biomedical Science and practical experience in Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Biotechnology and/or Immunology. You’ll play a leading role in ordering, preparing, maintaining and safely disposing of materials and equipment. You’ll help to ensure the safe and effective operation of our Biomedical Science facility, undertaking and relaying Risk and COSHH assessments and providing training on equipment.
Our Biosciences group has a strong reputation for high-quality, research-informed teaching, having consistently placed in the top 10 for student satisfaction in The Guardian and The Times University League Tables and regularly co-publishing with students. The group has consistently been submitted for the remains central to the University’s goal of achieving internationally excellent and world-class outputs and impact from the majority of its research.
The School of Education, Health & Science is in robust health, offering an extensive range of subjects and inter-disciplinary work.
It is sited on the University’s Francis Close Hall Campus, in the attractive surrounds of Cheltenham and with the Cotswolds on our doorstep.
