Additionally, this role is a hybrid role based from our Cheltenham office 3 days per week and will involve monthly travel to our London office as required.

We are looking for an IT Operations Manager who will take responsibility for Gemba’s end-to-end IT estate, through ownership of;Technical IT Operations Management
- Own and optimise day-to-day IT operations across macOS endpoints, identity, security, and core SaaS platforms, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient systems. Lead device management, access control, and security tooling, with responsibility for supporting and improving the AWS environment.
- Drive IT security and assurance by integrating security telemetry, monitoring compliance and identity posture, and validating controls across the environment.
- Deliver high-quality IT service and user support, resolving issues efficiently while managing recurring operational tasks. Continuously improve documentation and processes, identifying automation opportunities to enhance reliability and reduce operational overhead.
- Contribute to IT strategy and roadmap development, delivering well-managed improvements aligned to business growth and priorities. Represent the organisation in Group IT forums and support the evolution and expansion of IT services across the wider Group.
- Expertise in managing Apple endpoint estates at scale
- Hands on experience of Okta, including lifecycle management
- Configuration and administration of Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager
- Management of VPN solutions (we use Nord Layer!)
- Ability to design, operate, and improve IT operating procedures
