Sewing Machinist – Cheltenham (Temp to Perm)
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00
Location: Cheltenham
Type: Temp to Perm
Pay: Up to £15.00/hr (dependent on experience)
Are you a manufacturing operative with hands‑on experience? A skilled stitcher or machinist? Someone who loves precision and making things that last? If you enjoy practical problem‑solving, working with your hands and creating strong, accurate work, this could be the role for you. Experience with industrial or domestic sewing is required. You’ll be stitching and assembling packaging that protects everything from helicopters to generators for transportation and delivery across engineering, automotive and aerospace industries.

WhatYou’ll Do
- Package and wrap industrial products ready for safe and secure logistics and transportation
- Operate industrial sewing machines including Jack machines, Long Arm Stitchers and Seiko machines
- Stitch and assemble packaging products to the highest of standards
- Follow stitching plans and design drawings (training will be provided)
- Inspect and test finished products to ensure accuracy, strength and durability
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace while meeting production deadlines
- Have existing hands‑on manufacturing or assembly experience
- Have previous machine operation experience or sewing as a hobby
- Are reliable, hardworking and eager to upskill and develop
- Enjoy working in a supportive and friendly family‑style business
