AWS DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to join our team that's building cloud services to support the UK's most pressing and interesting security challenges. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Infrastructure as Code, Dev Ops practices/tooling and modern security patterns.

• Build products and solutions to address customers' challenges.
• Work across a range of greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Deliver technical excellence whilst making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs.
• Participate in architectural discussions and design exercises.
• Employ and follow security practices.
• Employ customer-facing skills within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with technical and operational teams.
• Work with customers and other suppliers to gather and shape requirements.

• Proven experience working with Amazon Web Services and other Dev Ops tooling in high-security environments.
• Hands‑on expertise in infrastructure‑as‑code tools including Terraform.
• Strong presentation and knowledge sharing skills with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations.
• Able to communicate with customers and challenge thinking when needed.
• Consulting skills to solve customer problems, and the ability to manage ambiguity.
• UK NATIONAL
• AWS Certifications at Associate level.
