New Permanent Opportunity for multiple IT Support Engineers for a leading NS SME in Gloucestershire

We are recruiting multiple IT Support Engineers to work for an exciting, rapidly growing SME in the NS sector. Our client is a cyber technology and software assurance specialist, providing test assurance, managed services, automation, and cloud solutions. They build and manage synthetic and production environments with automated testing and integration pipelines. Their focus is on tailored service delivery and transparent, long‑term support.

• Up to £55k DoE
• Expertise in Technical Support, Service Management, Networking, Virtualisation, System Automation

What will you be doing?

• Setting up and configuring client systems
• Responding to IT support requests and diagnosing issues
• Delivering technical support on-site or remotely
• Resolving hardware, software, and network problems
• Providing tailored IT solutions
• Maintaining strong client relationships
• Recording and managing support activities
• Contributing to IT knowledge bases
• Supporting project teams in system rollouts

Essential Experience Required

• Proven technical support experience – 1st/2nd/3rd line support
• Familiarity with service management tools like HP SM and Jira Service Desk

Desired Technical Experience Required

• Experience with networking (Cisco, Juniper, HP, Dell)
• Skilled in virtualisation (VMware, Hyper‑V)
• Proficient in automation tools (Ansible, Python, Power Shell)
• Effective time management and interpersonal abilities
• Confident troubleshooting of complex IT issues
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication
