Responsibilities
Design and implement automation solutions for cloud environments
Develop and maintain AWS IAM policies and roles to ensure secure access control
Build serverless workflows using AWS Lambda, Event Bridge, and related services
Integrate and automate AWS services using Python and Boto3
Monitor cloud environments using alerting and monitoring tools to maintain integrity
Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges related to AWS security and automation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security practices with project goals
Optimize Python code for performance and maintainability
Maintain compliance with cloud security best practices and standards
Debug and troubleshoot issues within cloud automation workflows
Document automation processes and security configurations for internal use
Stay current with AWS service updates and industry security trends
Requirements
Proven experience as a Security Engineer or equivalent role with 7 to 14 years of experience
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, Identity Center, Organizations, Lambda, and Event Bridge
Proficiency in Python programming including debugging, optimization, and software design
Extensive experience with AWS Boto3 for API interactions and automation
Knowledge of popular Python libraries such as requests, boto3, and json
Expertise in building serverless workflows using AWS services
Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for cloud environments
Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges
Ability to design and implement automation solutions for routine cloud tasks
