Lead Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Warehousing

We are seeking a  Data & ETL Testing Lead  to drive quality across enterprise data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics platforms. This role focuses on validating  ETL processes  (extraction, transformation, loading), ensuring data accuracy, and building scalable testing frameworks. You will lead a team of testers and collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to guarantee reliable, high-quality data delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and execution of  ETL and data testing strategies  across multiple projects.
Validate  data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)  processes across diverse sources and targets.
Develop and maintain  automation frameworks  for ETL and data validation.
Perform  data profiling, reconciliation, and integrity checks  to identify anomalies.
Collaborate with engineering teams to embed testing into  CI/CD pipelines  (Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Airflow).
Partner with business teams to ensure data quality aligns with reporting and analytics needs.
Mentor and guide QA/QE professionals in modern  ETL and data testing practices .
Ensure compliance with  data governance, security, and regulatory standards .

Required Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of  ETL concepts, data testing, data warehouses, and data lakes .
Hands-on experience with  ETL tools  (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent).
Proficiency in  SQL  for ETL validation and reconciliation.

Experience with  Python  and libraries such as Pandas, Num Py, and SQL Alchemy for data manipulation.
Familiarity with  data visualization tools  (Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
Expertise in  CI/CD pipelines  for ETL and data testing.
Understanding of  data quality frameworks  and best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
