As we expand our product ecosystem, we are looking to collaborate with an experienced freelance full-stack Word Press & Woo Commerce developer who can act as a long-term technical partner and help translate advanced AI capabilities into robust, scalable, and user-friendly digital platforms.
Role Overview We are seeking a senior-level freelance developer with deep expertise in Word Press, Woo Commerce, and modern front-end technologies , combined with strong experience in multilingual websites, API integrations, and performance-focused architecture .
This role goes beyond implementation. You will work closely with Ailaysa’s product and AI teams to design and build platforms that integrate AI-powered content generation and translation workflows into real-world publishing and commerce environments.
Key Responsibilities Word Press & Platform Development Design, develop, and maintain custom Word Press themes and plugins
Extend Word Press functionality using hooks, actions, filters, and REST APIs
Implement secure, high-performance architectures with proper data validation, caching, and optimization
Support headless or decoupled Word Press setups where required
Woo Commerce Development Build and extend custom product types (e.g., digital content, subscriptions, memberships)
Customize order workflows, admin interfaces, checkout flows, and transactional emails
Integrate and customize payment gateways, shipping logic, taxes, and coupons
Optimize Woo Commerce performance for scalability and high-traffic environments
Front-End & Modern Stack Develop dynamic interfaces using modern JavaScript (ES6+), React and/or Vue.js
Build responsive, maintainable UI using advanced CSS (Sass, Tailwind CSS)
Use modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar) for asset optimization
AI, API & Multilingual Integration Integrate Ailaysa’s AI APIs for content generation, translation, and SEO workflows
Build admin and front-end interfaces that seamlessly use AI-driven services
Handle webhooks and event-based integrations between Word Press and AI systems
Structure content and metadata for efficient AI consumption
Multilingual & Publishing Expertise Implement and manage complex multilingual setups using WPML, Polylang, or Translate Press
Handle translated taxonomies, synced content, locale-specific behavior, and multilingual SEO
Ensure proper internationalization (i18n), RTL language support, and localization best practices
Build complex content models using custom post types and advanced custom fields
Required Experience & Skills Technical Requirements (Non-Negotiable) 5+ years of professional Word Press development
3+ years of deep Woo Commerce development
Strong PHP skills (OOP, modern standards, Composer)
Advanced MySQL/Maria
DB knowledge (query optimization, indexing)
Experience with Linux servers, deployment workflows, SSL, and CI/CD pipelines
Specialized Experience (Highly Preferred) Multilingual publishing or content-heavy platforms
Membership, subscription, or gated content systems
Headless CMS architectures (Word Press + Next.js / Nuxt.js)
Technical SEO in multilingual environments
Soft Skills & Working Style Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business goals into technical solutions
Clear and structured communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
High level of autonomy and ownership, suitable for a freelance partnership model
Strong focus on code quality, security, documentation, and long-term maintainability
Continuous learner who stays current with Word Press, AI, and web technologies
