Responsibilities
- · Programming, fixture design, and cutting tool selection for various CNC Milling Machines, Lathes, and Machining Centers.

· Prepare detailed operation sheets for machining and develop programs for numerically controlled machines and products.

· Create and modify programming methods and CNC codes using CAM software, while selecting appropriate speeds, feeds, and tooling.

· Analyze engineering drawings to understand new or revised designs for programming purposes.

· Implement written engineering requirements into operational machine programs.

· Communicate effectively with machine operators, production engineers, and quality teams.

· Identify, report, and resolve unusual machining conditions or critical issues.

· Suggest and implement productivity, cycle-time, and process improvements in machining and programming.

Qualifications
- · Associate’s degree in mechanical or industrial technology.

· Previous programming experience desired.

· 5 – 7 years related CNC machining/programming experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

· Experience with machine programming and CAM software required.

· Experience in developing CNC programs using Solid CAM.

· Experience with MAZAK machines is plus
