Are you an experienced CNC Turner confident with online programming? Do you want to join a specialist manufacturer producing high‑precision ceramic components? Our client is a leader in their field and is expanding their machining team with a skilled, time‑served engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity offering day shifts, an early finish on Fridays, and private medical cover.

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for carrying out online CNC programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision ceramic components to tight tolerances. You will interpret engineering drawings, work to established SOPs, and ensure all parts meet quality requirements.

• Perform online programming directly at the CNC machine (essential)
• Program and operate Mazatrol‑controlled lathes (Mazatrol experience preferred; training available for strong programmers)
• Operate Haas CNC lathes as required
• Produce high‑precision components following work instructions and SOPs
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet drawing specifications
• Complete all job documentation accurately and submit to QA for sign‑off
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and safe working practices
• Support additional machining tasks within your competency as needed

• Time‑served machinist
• Minimum 5 years' experience in CNC Turning
• Online programming capability is essential
• Mazatrol programming/operating experience preferred
• Candidates with other CNC programming experience will still be considered;
  Mazatrol training can be provided
• Haas experience desirable
• Heidenhain & Fanuc experience beneficial but not essential
• Manual turning skills and competent use of measurement equipment (Verniers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Shadow Graphs)
• Demonstrated competency across a range of machining techniques
• Experience machining ceramics such as Boron Nitride is desirable
