Food and play a key role in shaping the future of food procurement across the healthcare sector. What You'll Do, As a Category Buyer, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end procurement process for your category, from strategy creation to supplier relationship management. You'll:
- Develop and implement innovative category strategies that optimise buying power.
- Lead the tendering process and manage supplier performance.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the NHS and supplier network.
- Ensure compliance with Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
- Drive savings for the NHS while supporting growth for supplier partners.
- A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for procurement and category management.
- Ability to analyse markets, negotiate effectively, and deliver results.
- Knowledge of public procurement regulations is a plus.
