Description

We are a leading Interpreting and Translation Company in the UK providing face‑to‑face and remote interpreting services for hospitals, councils, insurance companies and other public and private sector organisations.

We are urgently seeking to fill our Mandarin Interpreter Jobs in the following locations:
Beacons停ford, Amersham, Chesham, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe, Iver, Little Chalfont, Marlow and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Highly skilled and proficient Mandarin interpreters located in the aforementioned areas are sought for well‑paying freelance interpreting roles.

• Eligible candidates must demonstrate an excellent command of both English and Mandarin, possess comprehensive cultural understanding, and master correct word order and grammar.

• Ideal candidates should have a wide vocabulary, including synonyms, idiomatic expressions, proverbs and quotations, to accurately express themselves in both languages.

• Good communication skills such as clear enunciation, pronunciation and a professional tone of voice are required.

• Competency in key industries such as medical, financial, insurance, courts & tribunals, police and/or government agencies raises the standard of specialised interpretation.

• Applicants must present a DBS certificate, copy of educational qualifications, two references, a DPSI or Community Interpreting Certificate and will undergo the company’s rigorous recruitment and selection process.

Interpret for patients, clients and end‑users who speak limited or no English ies will also include attending hospitals, GP practices, social services, job centres and other public and private sector organisations. As a community interpreter, you may also attend home visits to provide interpretation services for patients and clients at their premises, always accompanied by a professional.
