Permanent, Direct Placement Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator on behalf of a well-established concrete reinforcement and steel fabrication company based in Woolpit, Suffolk. This is a direct permanent placement, offering a stable, long-term position within a growing specialist manufacturer. About the Role Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machinery used in the manufacture of reinforcing bar (rebar) and steel mesh products.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating CNC bending and cutting machines to produce rebar and mesh to specification. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and cutting schedules. Setting up, calibrating, and maintaining production equipment. Performing regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency. Monitoring output and ensuring safe, efficient workflow. Conducting basic maintenance and reporting faults as required. Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Operator within metal fabrication, steel processing, or construction materials.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Mechanically minded with a strong eye for detail and quality. Experience working with rebar or reinforcement mesh is highly desirable. Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively within a team. Whats on Offer Direct permanent position within a leading UK manufacturer. Competitive salary (£30,000 £ 35,000 per annum). Consistent Monday to Friday day shifts (08:00 17:00).
