Working Cleaning Supervisor – Motorway Services

£14.27 per hour | Immediate start available

TC Facilities Management is recruiting a hands-on Working Cleaning Supervisor to lead a small cleaning team at a busy motorway service station.

This is a front-line role where you’ll supervise the team while actively cleaning alongside them, helping to maintain high hygiene and presentation standards across all customer areas.

Location & Hours

🚗 Own transport required – motorway location with no public transport access

* Hours:

35 hours per week

* Location:

Knutsford, Cheshire, WA160TL

* Shift pattern: 5 days out of 7

* Shifts:

6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm

* Includes weekends and Bank Holidays

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for supervising a team of around five cleaners, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness in a high-footfall, customer-facing environment. This includes public areas, toilets, and shower facilities.

Working closely with the Area Manager, you’ll support day-to-day operations, train team members on-site, and act as the first point of contact for any cleaning-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and support the on-site cleaning team

* Carry out hands-on cleaning duties alongside the team

* Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards across all customer areas

* Lead by example and motivate the team

* Support training and induction of new starters

* Ensure cleaning schedules and priorities are met

* Report and resolve day-to-day site issues

What We’re Looking For

* Previous cleaning experience (supervisory or team leader experience preferred)

* Comfortable with hands-on cleaning in a busy environment

* Reliable, proactive, and able to lead by example

* Excellent attention to detail

* Own vehicle essential due to site location
