About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Licensing Manager to join our marketing team and take ownership of managing licensed brand partnerships across the UK and globally. This is a varied role where you’ll combine relationship management, data analysis, and commercial support to ensure compliance, maximise brand exposure, and drive growth opportunities.
Reporting into the Director of Marketing & Licensing, you’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver licensing strategies, maintain brand integrity, and support joint marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Licensed Partner Management
- Act as the primary contact for UK and global licensed brand partners.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and licensing agreements.
- Build strong relationships to maximise brand exposure and joint marketing opportunities.
- Align internal and external stakeholders and support the Director of Marketing & Licensing with day-to-day activities.
- Data & Reporting
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, forecasts, and market share.
- Use data insights to inform marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with proven competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Commercial Support
- Work closely with sales and category teams to align marketing with commercial objectives, including joint business plans, selling activities, NPD implementation, and budget alignment.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-promotion for the marketing team.
- Lead budget management and forecasting in partnership with finance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Brand, Quality, Category Management, Local Marketing, Sales, and Portfolio teams.
- Ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all channels.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in licensing management or a similar licensing role or commercial/category partnership role.
- Preferably within food, drinks, FMCG/Consumer Products/Retail sector
- Strong understanding of brand compliance and licensing agreements
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point
- Commercially focused with experience in budget management and forecasting
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
