Electrical Site Engineer – BESS
Location: North West England (site-based)
Sector: Battery Energy Storage / Power Infrastructure
Mint Selection is supporting a battery energy storage project in the North West of England and is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer to support site delivery during the construction phase.
Responsibilities- Site‑based electrical engineering support on a utility‑scale BESS project
- Coordinate electrical installation works including HV/LV, PCS, transformers and cabling
- Liaise with electrical contractors, OEMs and the client team
- Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and programme
- Support testing, commissioning and handover activities
- Maintain high standards of H&S and quality on site
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Site Engineer on BESS, substations or power projects
- Strong understanding of UK electrical installation standards
- Experience working on live construction sites
- Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple contractors
