European Tax Manager – Full Time – 35 hours weekly

Job Description
Position PurposeThis role is part of the European Tax Center of Excellence and focuses on:
- Managing all direct tax reporting and compliance requirements for a designated group of markets within the Europe region.
- Providing guidance on tax‑related matters, coordinating with external advisors and the global tax function when needed.
The role also requires maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of local tax legislation and acting as an internal consultant to support stakeholder needs.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and submit all U.S. tax reporting, including quarterly current and deferred tax provisions, tax contingencies, and projections using Tax Stream technology.
- Coordinate annual Transfer Pricing documentation, including financial analyses and collaboration with commercial teams and external advisors.
- Prepare annual Corporate Income Tax Returns in partnership with external advisors.
- Calculate and instruct Corporate Income Tax payments.
- Liaise with tax authorities as required.
- Prepare annual tax disclosures for statutory financial statements, including current and deferred tax calculations, and address external auditor queries.
- Continuously monitor tax legislation, assess potential impacts, and communicate findings to business partners.
- Participate in internal projects to ensure direct tax compliance and provide support on tax advisory matters, involving third‑party resources as needed.
- Support the Center of Excellence strategy for engaging and managing third‑party resources.
- Contribute to standardization, automation, continuous improvement, risk management, and adoption of tax technology.
- Provide support to other markets when required.
- Complete all other necessary reporting obligations.
- Qualified accountant and/or chartered tax adviser.
- Extensive experience in tax compliance within at least one jurisdiction, gained in practice or within a multinational corporate tax environment.
- Knowledge of accounting provisions, accounting principles, statutory audits, and financial statement disclosure requirements in at least one European jurisdiction.
- Experience with indirect taxes.
- Fluency in English.
