Trainee Mortgage Advisor

Are you aspiring to build a career as a Mortgage Advisor? Our client, a well‑established and reputable Estate Agency group, is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor in the Chester area.

Initially, you will focus on engaging with registered candidates via calls, scheduling appointments for the Mortgage team. This role offers a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor, with the opportunity for funded CeMAP qualifications through the company.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in advancing into mortgage advisory, with a motivated and driven attitude. Essential skills include a strong telephone manner and the ability to close for business effectively. A driving licence is required as part of the role’s requirements. However, no prior mortgage experience is necessary, as full training and qualifications will be provided.

• Up to 22,000 Basic
• Commission structure that can deliver on target earnings of approximately £40,000
• Ongoing professional development and a clear pathway to become a Mortgage Advisor
• Funded CeMAP qualifications
• Full-time position

• Calling registered candidates to book mortgage appointments
• Maintaining accurate records in the internal CRM system
• Making 50-60 outbound calls daily to prospective clients
• Supporting the mortgage team with administrative tasks as needed
• Gradually developing knowledge of mortgage products and services
• Progressing towards obtaining CeMAP qualifications and becoming a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor
