Front End Developer - JavaScript / React
Chester | Hybrid working
We're recruiting a Front End Developer to join an established business supporting a high‑traffic eCommerce platform. You'll work with modern front‑end technologies to build customer‑facing features, support campaigns, and improve the performance of a headless storefront.
The role- Build and enhance features using React, Type Script, and Java Script
- Develop reusable components and customer‑facing functionality
- Support day‑to‑day eCommerce trading and campaign activity
- Implement A/B testing and platform improvements
- Deliver features and bug fixes across web platforms and mobile apps
- Contribute to planning, design, and team reviews
- Strong JavaScript and Type Script experience
- Solid front‑end fundamentals (HTML, SCSS/CSS)
- Experience with React and Node.js
- Understanding of eCommerce environments
- Experience with commerce platforms or CMS tools
- Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Chester‑based role with hybrid working – opportunity to work on large‑scale, customer‑facing digital platforms.
