Front End Developer - JavaScript / React
Chester Hybrid working
We're recruiting a Front End Developer to join an established business supporting a high-traffic eCommerce platform. You'll work with modern front-end technologies to build customer-facing features, support campaigns, and improve the performance of a headless storefront.
Responsibilities- Build and enhance features using React, Type Script, and Java Script
- Develop reusable components and customer-facing functionality
- Support day-to-day eCommerce trading and campaign activity
- Implement A/B testing and platform improvements
- Deliver features and bug fixes across web platforms and mobile apps
- Contribute to planning, design, and team reviews
- Strong JavaScript and Type Script experience
- Solid front-end fundamentals (HTML, SCSS/CSS)
- Experience with React and Node.js
- Understanding of eCommerce environments
- Experience with commerce platforms or CMS tools
- Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Chester-based role with hybrid working
- Opportunity to work on large-scale, customer-facing digital platforms
