Our client prepares chilled foods for UK retailers, chains and food services across the UK.

Shift Patterns:

• 4 on 4 off / 6 am
  -6pm

Pay Rates:

• £13.24 per hour

Main Purpose and Context of the Job:

• Control all aspects of line production to deliver 100% service in quality and meals. Responsible for health and safety of staff on the line.

Main Responsibilities:

• Efficient running of the meal assembly production line.
• Ensure all targets are met and specifications procedures followed.
• Minimize line downtime through proactive approach.
• Perform health and safety checks to maintain safe workplace.
• Ensure products leaving the line meet agreed customer specification (CCP).
• Control and organize labor on the line, ensuring procedures followed.
• Manage production lines to achieve plan in full and on time.
• Ensure correct materials are brought to line at correct time and quantity.
• Assist with stock rotation and product labelling systems.
• Keep lines clean and tidy to comply with G.M.P. practice.
• Monitor material usage to avoid over/under finished product.
• Meet agreed labor and strike rate targets.
• Promote enthusiastic working environment.
