Twilight RVN Positions – Chestergates Referral Hospital

Chestergates is expanding, and we're looking for experienced and confident Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) to join our twilight team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a leading referral hospital while enjoying an excellent work-life balance.

You’ll work across a range of specialist departments, including:

• Neurology
• Orthopaedics
• Soft Tissue Surgery
• Internal Medicine
• Ophthalmology
• Cardiology
• Oncology

The role involves a high level of inpatient care and requires confidence in anaesthesia. While referral experience is desirable, full training will be provided to support your development in a multidisciplinary environment.

• 7 days on / 14 days off
• Hours:
  
  3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (30‑minute unpaid break)
• Annualised contract – salary includes annual leave
• Average weekly hours: 17.5

• Hourly rate: £16.50 – £18.00
• CPD allowance: £500 + 2 CPD days per year
• Opportunities for further development within a supportive and progressive team

• RVNs with strong anaesthesia skills
• A proactive approach to inpatient care
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working across multiple disciplines
• Previous referral or out‑of‑hours experience is an advantage
