Position: Colour Stylist
Work Hours: Full Time, 5 days per week
Purpose of the RoleTo be an ambassador for Dior by raising the profile of makeup within the business and driving continuous commercial improvement in sales and market share across your store. You will be responsible for achieving makeup sales targets through expert application and service whilst sharing your knowledge with the Dior Ambassador team.
Responsibilities Sales- Pro-actively sell Parfums Christian Dior products and provide a luxury standard of service to customers, through DIOR and the ‘Non-Negotiables’.
- Be aware of and achieve or exceed sales targets with a focus on makeup.
- Pro-actively link sell across product categories to increase ATV and ATU.
- Educate clients and Dior ambassadors on Parfums Christian Dior products, in particular make‑up trends and application.
- Be responsible for creating and implementing in‑store events with a focus on driving makeup sales.
KPI: To achieve sales targets and actively drive makeup sales and the performance of the account with a focus on eventing.
Service- Initiate contact with customers and welcome them both on counter and through traffic stopping with focus makeup products.
- Identify, understand and reformulate the client needs.
- Develop personal relationships with clients and gain loyalty.
- Lead by example in all aspects of D.I.O.R demonstrating outstanding service to all clients.
- Update IPOS tool with client data including all sales and client profile.
- Develop and utilise customer database on IPOS to build clientele (phone calls, product launch events and appointments).
KPI: To achieve VIP target of 70%.
Make‑up Skills- Be knowledgeable on all Parfums Christian Dior products and be able to propose personalised products to clients, with a focus on make‑up and techniques such as adapting colour, texture and style to enhance the client’s features.
- Demonstrate products on clients using both focus products and backstage elements.
- Be an expert on make‑up and conduct in‑store coaching to help Dior Ambassadors develop their make‑up skills.
- Ensure knowledge of the recent Dior catwalk makeup trends through social media and other accessible means.
KPI: To deliver coaching tips to each BC once a week.
General- Adhere to all company procedures and policies, as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Build relationships with store management and adhere to all store policies and procedures.
- Carry out any additional duties as directed by the management team.
- Be a Parfums Christian Dior brand ambassador and representative at all times.
- Contribute to make‑up events on counter and lead events where appropriate.
- Participate in merchandise management and ensure that it is in line with Corporate guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels, report any issues to the Counter Manager and ensure that there are sufficient levels.
- Conduct all assigned operational and administrative tasks.

Demonstrates excellent make‑up application skills and uses their creativity to inspire others and bring products to life. - Communication
Skills:
Ability to communicate one's makeup knowledge and skills to colleagues and customers. - Coaching ability:
Able to share makeup expertise and training with other Dior Ambassadors when on counter, ensuring a team‑working approach. - Sales ability:
Proactively works towards the sales target, with a key focus on driving the Dior make‑up business through eventing and on‑counter theatre.
- 2+ years’ experience in retail make‑up artistry.
- Expertise in make‑up and knowledge of skin care and fragrance.
- Personal affinity with the Dior brand and products.
- Previous experience creating and implementing events.
- Follows social media makeup trends and in particular Dior catwalk trends.
- Professional image reflecting DIOR and host store expectations.
- Flexible approach to working hours – 5 out of 7 days a week in line with store trading hours.
