Overview

We are looking to appoint a Consultant Rheumatologist to further develop our highly rated Rheumatology services at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity, and it is anticipated that there will be occasion for the appointee to develop a sub‑specialty interest within the role.

Applicants will be expected to have completed broad based general medical training along with specific training in Rheumatology and to have gained a CCT in Rheumatology or Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine or be within six months of obtaining this.

Chesterfield is a thriving market town surrounded by attractive countryside, contemporary leisure facilities and extensive retail outlets. Numerous stately homes are within easy travelling distance. The Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire Moors, a number of coastal resorts and many historic cities are also close enough for day trips.
