Join Lineage Logistics, a global leader in temperature‑controlled logistics, to help transform the food supply chain by eliminating waste and feeding the world. We seek an Electrical / Maintenance Engineer to perform reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment at our Holmewood site.

Working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday, 7 am‑3:30 pm or 8 am‑4:30 pm, depending on preference. Salary £45,000–£50,000, depending on experience.

• Diagnose and resolve equipment failures across mechanical, electrical, crane, conveyor, refrigeration, and plant utilities systems.
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Monitor Coldstore Systems, ensuring temperature thresholds, supporting refrigeration servicing schedules, and reporting deviations.
• Reduce downtime and improve reliability of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Support cross‑functional teams to resolve problems and keep the facility operating.
• Work in cold environments (~‑18 °C) with full PPE; climb ladders at height as required.

• Recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering;
  Electrical Engineering beneficial but not essential (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC or equivalent).
• Hands‑on maintenance experience, ideally with refrigeration and mobile racking.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, health & safety legislation, and maintenance best practices.
• Effective communicator in English; proactive and adaptable attitude.
• Willingness to learn and improve skills.
