Maintenance Engineer

Site based role - Commutable from Chesterfield, Sheffield, Rotherham, Worksop, Alfreton, Matlock, Mansfield, Dronfield, Clay Cross, Bolsover, Eckington and Staveley.

£42,250 + 3 Shift Pattern (Early, Days and Nights) + No Call Out Rota + 25 days Holiday + Company Pension + Paid Overtime (1.5x) + Career Progression + Training.

In this role, you will carry out both planned and unplanned maintenance on a variety of heavy industrial machinery, supporting production across a rotating 3‑shift pattern. You will work closely with an experienced maintenance team to diagnose faults, complete repairs, and improve equipment reliability through preventative maintenance.

This position would suit a mechanically minded engineer with experience in heavy plant or industrial environments, who enjoys hands‑on work and is seeking a secure, long‑term role within a stable manufacturing setting.

• Performing planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial machinery.
• Stable role with long‑term career prospects in a heritage engineering firm.
• Working on a 3‑shift rotation (5:30am‑2pm, 1:30pm‑10pm, 9:30pm‑6am).

• Mechanically biased engineer with industrial or heavy plant experience.
• Comfortable with physically demanding, hands‑on work.
• Welding or fabrication experience beneficial.
