Estimator. Inspire Resourcing are recruiting an Estimator on behalf of our client in Chesterfield. This is a great opportunity to join a market leading & well established business with career development opportunities.

• Evaluation of tender opportunities to ensure they fit with business capabilities, business model and risk profile.
• Estimating tender prices.
• Bid writing and preparation.
• Tender and client management including timely response to client queries and adherence to tender deadlines.
• Working closely with finance and operations teams to develop and maintain processes for accurate estimates of costs.
• Pro-actively seek feedback on job performance to inform future estimating.
• Identifying and implementing continual improvements to reduce cost for both the client and company.
• Ensuring full and sufficient handovers to operations teams are made.
• Ensuring key tender assumptions/attendances are communicated to the commercial department and included in draft contracts.

• Previous commercial experience in Civil Engineering / Construction experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
