Management Accountant

Job Title

Management Accountant – Chesterfield (£200-£230 per day)

£200-£230 per day (actual pay will be based on your skills and experience – please discuss with the recruiter).

• Fully qualified ACCA, ICAEW, or CIMA
• 3-5 years post‑qualified experience, including P&L’s, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and depreciation
• Excellent understanding of double entry bookkeeping
• Strong end‑to‑end financial processes and controls knowledge
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills

• Support preparation of P&L, balance sheet, budget and forecasting activities
• Prepare month‑end accounts (profit and loss and balance sheet)
• Handle commercial price changes and associated activity
• Own month‑end tasks from preparation through to posting journals and reconciliations
• Produce financial statements and applications
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required
• Support the year‑end audit process
• Prepare month‑end packs and balance sheet reconciliations

Role requires 1–2 days a week on site in Chesterfield.
