Financial Director

A growing UK Sales & Marketing company is seeking a Finance Director to support a driven and ambitious Managing Director, acting as their right-hand strategic partner as the business prepares for rapid growth from its current £20m turnover.

The Finance Director will bring commercial acumen, financial insight, and strategic challenge to help shape the company's direction and ensure a strong financial foundation for its next stage of expansion.

The role offers full ownership of the finance, HR, and logistics functions, providing a rare opportunity to combine board-level influence with day-to-day operational leadership. • Lead all financial, HR, and logistics operations and strategy
• Partner with the Managing Director to shape business direction and deliver growth plans
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to guide decision-making
• Oversee statutory reporting, compliance, and audit processes
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial controls
• Drive commercial performance and profitability through data-led insight
• Oversee supplier relationships, procurement, and contract management
• Lead and develop a capable finance team, fostering collaboration and accountability
• Present to the board on financial performance, risk, and strategic initiatives
• Implement and enhance systems, processes, and controls to support scalability

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Proven experience as the financial lead within an SME or divisional environment
• Commercially focused, with a track record of driving growth and profitability
• Confident influencing senior stakeholders and operating as a true business partner
• Hands-on, and comfortable balancing strategy with day-to-day delivery
• Strong leadership skills, with a collaborative and results-oriented approach

• Salary: £90,000 - £110,000
• £12,000 car allowance
• Bonus up to 25%
