REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company.
CNC Machinist - Woodworking - AFTERNOONS
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on precision, owns their results, and values a culture built on accountability and high performance.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, set and optimise 5-axis CNC machines (SCM preferred)
- Work to technical drawings and fire door specifications
- Measure, inspect and ensure accuracy to tight tolerances
- Record key production data, output and performance metrics
- Contribute to cross‑training across the machine shop
- Maintain strict safety, quality and housekeeping standards
- Proven CNC machining experience (5-axis required) would be advantageous
- Experience with SCM CNC or woodworking/manufacturing machining would be advantageous
- Confident in reading drawings and recording manufacturing data
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline
