The position offers a chance to support a young adult with cerebral palsy living independently in Chesterfield. You'll join a team of practical assistants (PAs) providing personal care and independent living support. This role is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on a young adult's life.
Start: ASAP
Rota: 7 days on / 7 days off
Location: Chesterfield (S43)
Pay: £150 per day / £1,050 per week worked
Free accommodation whilst on shift
Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata
An automatic UK driving licence is required for this position.

Care experience is not required; full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.
About Our ClientOur client has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy. She has a happy, positive demeanour and a good sense of humour. She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend (who lives with her) and playing with her dogs. Other interests include watching TV/documents, reading a good book, and playing games on her PC. She has an open mind and is easy‑going, often described as going with the flow.
QualificationsAnd Requirements
- Must be a dog lover – our client has 2 small/medium dogs
- A full clean UK driving licence – must be comfortable driving an automatic
- Physically fit, calm, patient and caring
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
- A mature and responsible attitude
- Confident and comfortable supporting someone with personal care
- Comfortable in your own company and able to occupy yourself when not needed by the client
- Fluent in English
- Non‑smoker
- Clean and respectful of the client's home and personal space
