Apprentice Supervisor

Location:

Bolsover, Derbyshire.

We offer a permanent full-time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.

• Hours:
  
  35 hours across 5 days per week.
• Pay: £13.11 per hour (guaranteed 35 hours pay per week, at least £458).

• Shift pattern: 5 days from 7 each week, with varied shifts.

• Work in a busy shop and learn how to be a great supervisor.
• Regular pre‑arranged visits (every 10 to 12 weeks) from an assessor from our apprenticeship provider.
• Between visits, regular reviews via webinar, telephone and video call.
• Regular completion of apprenticeship coursework.
• Completion of functional skills in English and Maths (if required).
• Assessment at the end of your 12 months of training.

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Give a fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops clean and tidy.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and support your manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.

• A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy – jump from deliveries to serving on the till, helping customers on the shop floor, organising other team members, etc.
• Reliable – an important part of a small team, dependable on each shift.
• A bit of flexibility with shifts – may need to cover for teammates; rota planned three weeks in advance.
• Ensure all work set by our apprenticeship provider is completed on time and to the best of your ability.
