Architectural Technologist

Position: Architectural Technologist (Permanent)
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Architectural Technologist to join a well-established and award-winning Chartered Practice based in Chichester. This Practice is passionate about delivering high-quality, detailed design solutions that positively shape the built environment.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the Residential, Education, Commercial, and Sustainability sectors with values up to £50m. The Junior Architectural Technologist will have a key role in supporting the team through the technical delivery stages (RIBA 3-5). This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Junior Technologist to gain hands-on experience, develop their technical skills and progress within a supportive, collaborative practice.

Junior Architectural Technologist Job Overview

Support the production of planning, technical and working drawings
Consult with other staff, decide the format and scope of design data required for project (drawings, schedules, specification, etc.)
Prepare and develop technical details and construction information under guidance
Collaborate with a wider successful technical team
Work on interesting projects within a range of sectors as well as having a focus on sustainable architecture
Work within a wider technical team, supporting wider staff
Work closely with consultants, contractors and further stakeholders

Job Requirements

Minimum of 1 years' UK experience
Good technical ability
Understanding of RIBA Stages 3-5
Ability to work well within a team
Enthusiastic, willing to learn and progress
Motivated, enthusiastic candidate
Revit experience desirable
Live within a commutable distance of Chichester
