The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Civil Project Coordinator with a background in civil construction and/or engineering who is ready to grow with a company committed to quality, reliability, and community. With a diverse fleet of equipment, a supportive team, and opportunities for professional growth, you’ll play a valuable role in projects that make a difference in communities we work and live in.

As an Experienced Civil Project Coordinator, you’ll support the successful execution of civil construction projects by coordinating site activities, assisting with surveying and inspections, and ensuring accurate reporting. You’ll work closely with field teams and leadership to keep projects running smoothly and safely. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working outdoors on active construction sites.

This role is based out of the Fraser Valley, with the possibility of travel to out-of-town projects, you must live in or be willing to commute to locations within the Fraser Valley region. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities and develop project schedules.
  • Perform quality control assessments and project inspections.
  • Compile project submittals, RFIs, and complete reports.
  • Assist Project superintendent with crew supervision.
  • Perform other labour duties as required by management.
  • Assist with site surveying and quantities.
  • Coordinate quantity tracking and perform productivity analysis to report to management team.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Manage junior project coordinators and interns for their day-to-day tasks.
  • Your Qualifications & Skills

  • Successfully completed their technical diploma or degree in civil engineering.
  • Must have a minimum of 4+ years’ experience working within a contracting firm on civil construction sites.
  • Understanding and competency using GPS and/or total station for surveying and layout.
  • Have a strong work ethic and works well in a team environment.
  • Be willing to travel within the province for work.
  • Natural ability to solve problems, communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Be flexible and willing to work to construction schedules and work night shifts if required.
  • Enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license, with a clean driving abstract.
  • Physically capable of walking on uneven terrain, climbing slopes, and carrying 20 kilograms.
