Invisalign for straighter smiles and healthier sleep.Orthodontic treatment using Invisalign may be a great option to help you straighten your smile without the use of traditional braces. Invisalign can also help address orthodontic issues that contribute to sleep apnea and other conditions like teeth grinding (bruxism).
We will begin by examining your smile to find out if Invisalign is right for you. Next, we will use our iTero 3D scanner to create a digital impression of your smile and show you what it could look like after Invisalign treatment.
Develop a CustomTreatment Plan
Based on the decisions made during your first appointment, we will design your Invisalign treatment plan. Your plan will include the exact movement of your teeth expected to occur with each set of clear aligners.
We will create your custom Invisalign clear aligners. You will wear them according to your treatment plan. As your treatment progresses, your aligners will shift your teeth into their new, prescribed positions.
Switch Your AlignersAs Directed
As directed by your dentist, you will switch to the next set of clear aligners. You will also have brief checkups with your dental team – every four to six weeks or so, to review your progress.
Maintain YourStraighter Smile
"You ve reached the end of your treatment!" During your final Invisalign appointment, we will discuss the next steps and prescribe you retainers to help keep your teeth in their new positions.

Invisalign candidate considerationsYes, any adult who has healthy teeth and gums may be a candidate for clear aligners. More and more adults are deciding to undergo orthodontic treatment these days, in large part because options like Invisalign have become available. Yes! Teens can certainly be candidates for Invisalign. In fact, Invisalign has created a line of aligners to meet the unique needs of teenagers.
Invisalign Teen aligners feature compliance indicators (small blue dots that fade away after the aligners have been worn enough) to help teens stay on track with their treatment. They also come with eruption tabs that provide space for second molars and help prevent them from emerging crooked.
Typically, patients need to change to their next set of aligners approximately every two weeks. Your dentist will tell you exactly how often you should switch out your aligners.
- Rinse your aligners each time you remove them to help wash away dry saliva and plaque that can contribute to dental decay and bad breath.
- Soak your aligners as needed using a denture cleaner, Retainer Brite, and/or the official Invisalign cleaning crystals.
- Always brush and floss your teeth before reinserting your aligners. Good oral hygiene is key to maintaining healthy teeth and helping to avoid cavities. Failing to brush and floss properly can trap food debris and bacteria between your teeth and the aligners, increasing your risk of dental problems and bad breath.
- Clean your aligners with a clear anti-bacterial soap. Clear anti-bacterial soap is an excellent and inexpensive way to keep your aligners clear, fresh, and free from harmful bacteria.
- Brush your aligners gently to prevent scratching them, and then rinse off the soap. Then you re done!
Invisalign aligners are removable, allowing you to play sports without worrying about causing damage to your aligners. However, keep in mind that Invisalign aligners must be worn for a minimum of 22 hours a day, so plan your time carefully. It is also recommended that you invest in a sports mouth guard to protect your teeth, as orthodontic treatment can cause your teeth to loosen slightly as they shift into their new positions, making them more susceptible to damage.
Yes! Simply remove your aligners if required to practice playing your instrument, and put them back in once you are done. Just don t forget to give them a rinse first!
