Otolaryngologist General Hospital

Overview

Fraser Health Authority (FHA) is seeking a full‑time (1.0 FTE) Otolaryngologist for Chilliwack General Hospital (CGH) in Chilliwack, BC. The successful applicant will provide general Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery services, including care of pediatric patients.

• Provide 1:5 regional on‑call coverage at CGH and Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre (ARHCC), sharing coverage with the existing otolaryngologist at CGH and the three otolaryngologists at ARHCC.
• Perform three operating‑room days every four weeks ionally, provide ambulatory day‑care for minor procedures under local anesthesia.
• Participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Otolaryngology Surgery, UBC.

• Medical licence (CMPA, CPSBC eligible or FRCSC eligible) – provisional licence acceptable for US board‑certified physicians.
• Background in Otolaryngology, with an interest in otology considered an advantage.
• Subspecialty training in Otolaryngology not required.
