Family Physician – Éyameth' Health Centre  First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) is seeking a Family Physician for the newly opening Éyameth’ Health Centre, open Summer 2025 in Harrison Mills, BC. The role offers up to 1.0 FTE (1680 hours per year) with a salary of approximately $354,000 per the 2024‑25 Physician Master Agreement, plus potential incentives under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement.
FNHA Overview  The Éyameth’ Health Centre is a society‑run, Nations‑led primary care facility under the provincial First Nations Primary Care Initiative. It will provide culturally appropriate primary care services, a home hemodialysis unit, pharmacy, level 1 laboratory, and a rehabilitation room. Services are designed to deliver wrap‑around, team‑based care, mental health and traditional wellness services for all residents of the North Fraser region.
Responsibilities   Practice with cultural humility and provide whole‑person care in a team‑based environment.
Serve as the primary provider for a patient panel, expected to reach 650 patients by March 2027.
Collaborate in team‑based care, supporting both Western and Traditional Wellness approaches.
Work flexibly between the Sts’ailes Yeqwethet Health Centre and the new building starting Summer 2025.
Engage in mentorship, teaching, and innovative health service delivery.
Qualifications   Active practicing license in good standing with the College of Physicians of BC.
Passion for supporting First Nations individuals and families on their health and wellness journeys.
Training in Cultural Safety & Humility, or willingness to undertake ongoing training.
Experience working with First Nations communities and delivering culturally safe care.
Strong interpersonal and inter‑disciplinary collaboration skills.
Valid Class 5 driving licence.
Contract & Benefits  Full‑time, renewable contract. No overhead contribution required. Additional incentives may be available under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement.
