Base pay range

CA $21.00/hr - CA $23.50/hr

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves working closely with clients at their homes.

Hard-working caregivers get lots of hours! We work with caregivers schedules. We are a busy company and need caregivers who can take on regular clients on a weekly basis. The more clients you take on, the busier you are.

Ability to speak and write well in English needed.

If you are detail-oriented, like working 1-1 with clients, are dependable, honest, nurturing, and fun-loving you are just the right person.

Job types available: part-time.

We have ongoing relevant educational training modules to help you grow in your knowledge while you work.

Requirements

• Smart phone savvy for use of during shifts to clock in and out and do visit notes.
• Complete a criminal record check.
• Consistent job performance & attendance our clients can rely on.
• Reliable transportation.
• Professional demeanor and respectful attitude.
• Ability to perform basic housekeeping + meal prep tasks.
• Home support worker certification preferred (but not necessary).
• Flexible availability.
• Previous caregiving and or elder care experience.
• 1+ professional references.
• Resides in BC.

Caregiver Tasks Include

• Meal prep + planning.
• Dementia Care/Companionship.
• Housekeeping (including laundry).
• Personal care + hygiene.
• Errands and grocery shopping.
• Medication routines.
• Quality time + companionship.
• Helping with exercises.
