Technical Project Manager

My client, a specialist in the design and manufacture of advanced composite structures, based in Chippenham, are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will work on a number of large projects from a prototyping environment through to series production, and will co-ordinate all key business functions and own the delivery in line with customer requirements.

You will act as the primary contact for the customer, and ensure that the project requirements are understood and translated accordingly.

You will need to have a solid grounding in an Engineering or Technical discipline, ideally in a Project Engineering capacity, be commercially astute and should contribute significantly to solutions to problems, rather than just managing project plans.

Personal Characteristics / Qualifications

● Min 3-5 years industry experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

● A proven project management record supported by an engineering, materials or technical bias further education qualification.

● Excellent communication skills, and ability to work cohesively within a team, recognising and leverage the strengths of each individual.

● Excellent MS Office, MS Project, presentation skills and attention to detail
