Production Operative

iRecruit4 are hiring for Production Operatives to work for our client on the outskirts of Chippenham in Corsham. Our client is a market leading manufacturer offering long term work and temporary to permanent positions. Benefits of the Production Operative:

Job Duties of the Production Operative:
Adhere to all site Health and Safety Policys and always observe the site Safety Manual including use of PPE (Personnel Protective Equipment) . Accurately interpret customer orders, drawings, and job specifications Select, organise, and pack orders with all required materials. Load and offload deliveries and company vehicles, using manual handling techniques or equipment (e.g. pallet trucks) Label and document all outgoing goods accurately, ensure all items are packed securely to prevent damage during transport.

Maintain clean and organised cutting and dispatch areas Check materials for quality before dispatch. Report any material shortages, damages, or order discrepancies to the supervisor Operate tools and equipment safely in accordance with training and procedures. Assist with stock checks and inventory management. Work collaboratively with colleagues and management. Cut and prepare products. Experience required for the Production Operative:
Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment (preferred). Physically fit to handle manual work and lifting tasks. Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Forklift licence (desirable, but not essential training can be provided) Ability to measure, mark, and cut materials accurately. Additional Information for the Production Operative:
Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00 Monday to Thursday 08.00 - 14.30 Friday Outskirts of Chippenham. Own transport advantageous due to location. £12.25 Per Hour.
