Mechanical Design Engineering

Responsibilities

Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) according to customer requirements.

Create 2D and 3D designs, detail part drawings, assemblies, and BOM using Solid Works and GstarCAD
.

Perform engineering calculations (mechanical strength, material selection, tolerance analysis, and basic kinematics).

Collaborate with production, electrical, and project teams to ensure the design can be manufactured and assembled correctly.

Conduct design reviews, improvements, and modifications based on testing or customer feedback.

Prepare technical documentation such as design specifications, manuals, and production drawings.

Support machine installation, testing, and commissioning when needed.

Generate complete design documentation including BOM (Bill of Materials), tolerances, surface finishes, welding symbols, and machining notes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably in Special Purpose Machine, Automation Systems, or Machine Maker Industry

• Proficient in Solid Works (3D/2D modeling) and GstarCAD (Similiar Autocad).
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, machine mechanisms, materials, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to produce detailed manufacturing drawings and assembly-ready documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Willing to travel to customer sites for installation, inspection, or troubleshooting when required.
• Experience in designing automated machines for manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of machine safety standards.
• Ability to adapt to project changes and work under deadlines.
