Workshop Supervisor - Assembly​/MEP

Valmet Technology Center is looking for a professional to fill in the following vacancy.

Workshop Supervisor is to ensure the efficiency of the production process and the quality of the products.

• Ensure roll maintenance efficiency in line with established targets.
• Perform roll maintenance activities, including inspection, repair, balancing, and quality test runs, according to approved drawings, specifications, and instructions within the assigned responsibility area.
• Adhere to the given maintenance and production schedules.
• Utilize company assets efficiently, responsibly, and with due care.
• Optimize the use of raw materials and consumables to minimize waste.
• Provide training and guidance to operators to enhance their skills and technical know-how in roll maintenance processes.
• Ensure all workshop processes and activities are carried out safely and in compliance with local occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Comply with Valmet Safety Policy, objectives, and regulations, including addressing safety issues and participating in site inspections.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Workshop Manager.

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering fields or at least 5 years experience working in the same field.
• Be able to communicate in English.
• Computer literacy in MS Office and other related computer program.
