Network Solutions Architect

Location: Hybrid – Office-based 2 days per week with travel to sites across the UK

Salary: £60,000 + Benefits

Due to continued growth and demand, they are seeking a talented Network Solutions Architect to help shape their technical roadmap and deliver exceptional solutions.

• Lead the design and deployment of network architecture for customer systems
• Develop and maintain detailed network infrastructure documentation
• Evaluate and select products/services aligned with customer requirements
• Implement security measures to strengthen network infrastructure
• Collaborate with project managers and suppliers to ensure successful delivery of network solutions
• Support pre‑sales activities, including requirement capture and business analysis
• Provide guidance on escalated issues as part of fourth‑line support

• Strong ability to design and implement network solutions
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCDP) desirable
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco SD Access, Firepower Firewalls, Catalyst/Nexus switching
• Knowledge of network automation tools (Auvik, Ansible/AWX, Netmiko)
• Familiarity with Wi‑Fi design and tools such as Ekahau
• Exposure to firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper) and security solutions
• Understanding of Operational Technology networks and protocols (Modbus, BACnet)
