Position: Estimator - Refurbishment & Fit-Out (Permanent)
Estimator – Refurbishment & Fit-Out – Up to £85,000 + package – Clacton-on-Sea, Essex (Hybrid considered) - Permanent, Full-Time

About the role
You will take ownership of estimating for refurbishment, fit-out and new build projects, supporting tenders from enquiry through to submission and handover.

Key responsibilities

* Prepare detailed cost estimates for refurbishment, fit-out & commercial construction projects

* Analyse drawings, specifications and client briefs

* Produce accurate take-offs and build-ups from first principles

* Send out enquiries and assess subcontractor / supplier returns

* Work closely with Pre-Construction, Commercial and Delivery teams

* Identify value engineering and risk opportunities

* Support tender submissions, clarifications and negotiations

* Assist with budgets, cost plans and handovers

Ideal background

* Proven experience as an Estimator / Senior Estimator in refurbishment or fit-out

* Strong knowledge of hospitality, leisure, education or commercial sectors

* Confident reading technical drawings and scopes

* Excel / estimating system proficiency

* Strong communication and commercial awareness
