We are seeking a Registered Manager to join our team!

The Cedars is a small residential care home in Clacton-on-Sea for up to twelve people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and, sometimes, early-onset dementia.

What You'll be Doing

• Leadership:
  Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated care team.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Ensure the home meets the Government and CQC- equivalent standards.
• Financial Management:
  Manage budgets and resources to contribute to the home's financial sustainability.
• Create strong relationships with residents, families and care professionals
• Promote a warm, positive and inclusive environment

What You'll Need

• Must be a nurse (RGN, RNLD, RNMH) with active NMC registration.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent
• At least 3+ years' experience as a Registered Manager in a care or nursing home
• Registered with CQC - Preferable but not essential.
• Experience with Mental Health & Challenging Behaviour
• Strong Knowledge and confidence in CQC regulations, Safeguarding and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills.
