Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable and skilled

Assembly Technicians for a manufacturing opportunity in Claremore, Oklahoma. This position involves assembling mechanical and industrial components, operating hand and power tools, and ensuring finished products meet established quality and safety standards. Previous manufacturing experience is required, including mechanical assembly, production, machine operation, or related industrial work. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow blueprints, diagrams, and production instructions while maintaining consistent productivity.

This position offers $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience, with a daytime schedule.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Experience in assembly, production, machine operation, or a related industrial environment
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and assembly drawings
• Experience safely using hand tools and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and positive work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and industrial components according to blueprints, diagrams, and production instructions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and applicable manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure, position, align, and secure components to meet assembly specifications.
• Inspect incoming parts and completed assemblies for accuracy, visible defects, and overall quality.
• Follow production schedules and maintain established daily output goals.
• Identify and report defective materials, equipment concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Work closely with production personnel to maintain efficient workflow and meet manufacturing deadlines.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations while following all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform additional assembly and manufacturing responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the following is especially beneficial:
• Mechanical or industrial assembly
• Manufacturing and production operations
• Electrical wiring or component installation
• Torque tools and assembly equipment
• Calipers and precision measuring instruments
• Blueprint and diagram interpretation
• Quality inspection and product verification
• Fast-paced production environments

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This is a physically active position in an industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and performing repetitive assembly tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required. Work involves regular use of hand tools, power tools, mechanical components, and production equipment. All required personal protective equipment and company safety procedures must be followed.
