• Completion of reactive maintenance work when machinery breaks down to minimise impact on line efficiencies.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance according to schedule.
• Ensuring high standards of engineering workmanship across the site.
• Team working on site development projects.
• Contributing to the development of existing and new standards for key items of equipment and facilities.
• Leading high standards of safety practices across the business.
• Completing routine tasks without prompting, including any other duties related to the role.
• Participating in engineering‑focused activities.
• Contributing towards continuous improvement projects.
• Supporting site technical issue resolution and completion of improvement actions through good engineering practices and guidance.
• Identifying and sharing best practice, and contributing towards raising awareness, improving performance and transitioning to a proactive engineering culture.

• Minimum level 4 HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• Electrical engineering qualification is an advantage.
• Experience in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take direction.
• Ability to challenge others in a professional and constructive manner.
• Understanding of environmental requirements and responsibilities.
